About KMTI…
KMTI—Kenya Ministry Training Institute—was founded in 1989 by Dr. LeRoy Curtis to train and prepare indigenous pastors for ministry. The main campus is located in Kitale, Kenya in East Africa on three acres. Over the past 12 years, a missionary team lead by Larry Neese has expanded on the original vision, developing the Kitale campus and establishing two satellite schools in Kenya and a new Ministry Training Institute in Uganda (UMTI). George Wafula, an alumnus of KMTI, is the current Director of KMTI and Bob VandeBrake is the Director of UMTI.
